Utilising Greys’ Powerlux carbon blanks, the Stillwater range features longer rods with actions specifically designed to handle a wide range of line densities from floating to fast sinking.
The 4 piece Powerlux blank features a fast taper, designed to maximise casting distance and control and allow hard fighting trout to be quickly tamed and brought to the net, while still retaining maximum feel and feedback to the angler which makes these rods a joy to fish with.
The aesthetically pleasing grey and red blank is adorned with stainless steel single foot snake guides with two lined stripper guides at the lower end of the rod and a stainless steel tip ring. The single foot guides minimise line friction and help preserve the natural action of the blank while avoiding flat spots.
The AAA grade full wells cork handle and EVA fighting butt surround the lightweight milled reel seat. Featuring dual locking nuts with a nylon cushion ring for a secure fitting, the full alloy, up-locking reel seat has been keyed and milled to reduce weight and maintain the overall balance of the rod.
Rod section ID’s and alignment dots finish each section and ensure the rod is assembled perfectly straight, allowing you to get the best out of these fantastic rods. Each rod is supplied in a rod bag and protective cordura rod tube.
