A good and practical product.

A good and practical product. I mostly use the olive colour. I have some crunchers with natural dyed quill bodies and for me the synthetic version gives a better effect and is more robust in the teeth of a trout. I am currently using them to tie bodies on olive dries and nymphs for river trout. Like all quill bodies they last longer and look better with a couple of coats of varnish or equivalent. They also make convincing bodies on olive buzzers. I have not found them in black, which is a pity as they could be worth a try on buzzers. Inexpensive and one pack will tie lots of flies.
