Refunds & Returns Policy
Sportfish's main priority is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase from us. In any unlikely event that you are not, please feel free to return the goods back to us within 28 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange.
Any item can be returned back to us for any reason provided it is returned unused with its original packaging and a valid receipt. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit and debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase and due to banking restrictions cheque payments can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date.
Returns And Exchanges
If you find your purchase unsuitable for any reason, we will exchange it (subject to stock availability) or refund the cost of the item. To enable us to do this, please complete the Returns Form specifying clearly Refund or Exchange and send it back to us within 28 days of purchase, ensuring that :
- The goods are in a new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labelling enclosed
- The original purchase receipt or invoice is enclosed
Faulty Goods : If an item is found to be faulty or damaged, please send it back to us with a copy of the invoice and complete the Returns Form explaining what is wrong. If a fault or damage is found we will reimburse you the postage. To enable us to reimburse this please advise us of the cost in writing.
*Please Note : Please be aware that in order with Health & Safety regulations any faulty items should be returned for assessment in a clean and dry condition free from mud and dirt. We regret that we are unable to process items that do not meet with these criteria and we will return such items back to you.
*Please Note : In some cases the manufacturer/supplier may require to see the item(s) before repair or replacement can take place. If this is the case we will inform you. Proof of purchase is also required with all potential warranty claims.
Returning Your Purchse By Post
To return your purchase by post complete the Returns Form stating whether you would like a refund or exchange. Please provide us with details of why you wish to return your purchase as your input is valuable to us when reviewing the products we stock. It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in a saleable condition.

Returning Your Purchase To A Store
Simply take your purchase and original receipt into any of our stores - Winforton, Reading or Farlows.
If you require a refund then the staff will issue a refund on the spot, or you can browse our store and exchange your purchase for an alternative product.
As with postal returns, store returns must be made within 28 days, refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and the goods must be in a new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labelling enclosed.
