Three-Day Autumn Salmon Courses - River Tweed

Three-Day Autumn Salmon Courses – River Tweed, Bemersyde

Sportfish Tuition Update

Our 2021 programme of courses and tuition is currently on hold, but we do hope to be able to resume safely soon, and are already busy planning for 2022.

Our bestselling courses are very popular indeed, and do sell out quickly, so if you would like to get ahead of the crowd for next year and receive advance notice of dates, simply email: with your name and telephone number, stating which course(s) you are interested in.

We will then be in touch via email, prior to advertising the course, with dates for your consideration before they go live.

Autumn fly fishing for salmon on the River Tweed is, for many, the pinnacle of their salmon career, and rightly so. This is prime time on the Tweed, one of the most prolific salmon rivers in Europe, and with runs at their highest at this time of year, you have every chance of hooking that ‘fish of your dreams’.

Our courses are relaxed and sociable but there is plenty of solid assistance on hand too with Campbell Thomson S.G.A.I.C and Nick Clewlow keeping you entertained and ensuring you develop the skills needed to tackle every eventuality.

We have two courses on the fabulous Bemersyde beat on the middle Tweed to offer this year

About The Bemersyde Beat

Bemersyde combines excellent fishing on the most stunning location on the river. The river loops past the Eildon Hills in a beautiful wooded gorge giving fishers complete seclusion from the outside world. The stretch is one mile long, with two-thirds of it double bank fishing, and it provides fishing of an interesting nature, with a pool or stream for every height of water.
