Simply run the Ketchum Release down the leader and over the fly. The hook backs out with minimum damage to the fish. The Ketchum is moulded from carbon fibre thermo composite and is comfortable and secure when held.

Excellent product and easy to use

I had read a lot of mixed reviews on the Internet about the ketchum. I'm really glad I bought it and it makes catch and release so much easier and no more damaged flies from using forceps. I bought the standard size and it even fits over bead heads.
