Reliable high quality tapered leaders, which I use for all my dry fly river fishing. I have used these Superstrong plus leaders very many times and prefer them to the previous Orvis version. Used in conjunction with the Orvis tippets, I have found them very reliable and trustworthy. I use mainly 5X, but also some 4X and 6X.
I use these casts fairly often as they assist in the taper of the line. However, I often add a short length of lower breaking strain nylon to increase the length. Orvis SS is good nylon to use.
