Wapsi Ultra Chenille 1 5 5 1
Specification

Both are excellent for nymphs and woven body flies.

Sizes Available: Standard & Micro

Colours Available: Olive, Red, Black, White, Fl Yellow & Fl Chartreuse

Chenille is a universal tying material and is commonly used to form nice bodies - whether for nymphs, wets, streamers or for many different saltwater patterns. The material is made from fine synthetic fibers which are twisted around a thread core. This is why Chenille is so durable yet flexible and can be turned around the hook shank easily.

  • The Standard size is is commonly used for worm patterns like the San Juan Worm but is also excellent for bodies on nymphs and streamers.
  • The Micro size is commonly used on patterns like the Palomino Midge. It also makes smaller, thinner versions of the San Juan Worm or is nice for bloodworm chironomid larva imitations. It’s the perfect body material for small flies such as nymphs, wet flies or small streamers with a very thin body. Further, it can be used for tying extremely effective worm patterns that will move very temptingly in the water
