A great boot. Shame about the price.

I would echo Philips comments about the quality of these boots. They're a great product. Unfortunately with the recent price hike with some American brands, Simms, Sage et al, I just couldn't recommend them any more. If I were to buy a boot now I would definitely look closer to home. Sorry, £199 is too much.

G4 wadings boots are a winner

I have used top of the range wading boots for many years including many Simms products.
I have just replaced by previous Simms boots with the G4 boots after 4 years of wading and abusing the previous boots.
These boots are without doubt the best of the best. They are comfortable providing good ankle support when wading over rough stream beds. They have superb grip on most surfaces but come into their own when studs are added.
A superb product and a must buy for fly fishers.
