These are just a few of the new casts dicovered by Jerry Siem, Sage's rod designer and chief guru during the developement of the TCX fly rods. Jerry has created a radical new series of fly rod tapers in order to harness the increased energy produced by Sage's Generation V Technology.
The TCX series also utilize the lastest Fibre Alignment and Graphite Core Wrap Technologies. The result is a fly rod that's much lighter(upwards of 20%) stronger and more powerful than its predecessor. Most importantly, the enhanced line feel means intuitively better timing and an extraordinary level of casting ease.

I had the pleasure of trying this rod whilst on a trip to Florida. As a qualified GAIA instructor & used to using a tip / fast action rod I would happily say this is the best such rod I've ever used. It can handle extremely long lines & when double hauling extremely high line speed & distance are achievable. Loops are tight & the the accuracy of the rod is phenomenal.
It will handle light dries as easily as weighted nymphs & lures. You do need to be an accomplished caster to get the full benefit
