All these lines are easy to lift off the water and they cast better than other comparable lines on the market.
Every line has a tip of around 5 meters that sink faster then the rest of the line. It means that the fly will be presented at the right depth faster than with conventional sinking lines.
Addditional density is added to the tip of each line type to ensure that the line sinks with the tip noticeably before the belly. This process prevents "sagging" caused by the thicker mid-portion sinking more rapidly than the tip.
The DOUBLE DENSITY lines give the angler a better feel for fishing at the right depth and vastly improve the hook-up rate.
The lines generate fantastic tight high-speed loops that turn over the leader and make the fly start to fish instantly.
The line has a unique dual two-tone barred chartreuse and yellow colour that improves visibility both in the air and on the water, in all light conditions.
It generates energy you have never experienced in a floating line before. This is the reason for this line casting like an Intermediate even though it retains its good floating characteristics.

CUTTING CHART FOR POWER TAPER SHOOTING HEADSRemember this chart is a recommendation only!
The best way to adjust your heads is during real fishing conditions.
To manage to cast and angle your line in certain circumstances, you might need to cut the line back even more than recommended here. If your line gets too short, it affects the total weight so much that you need to go up one line size to get the necessary weight to load the rod. Always cut your shooting head from the back end. The chart also states roughly the weight that your line should have after cutting it.
Shown below in the chart are the length/weight ratio into two different catergories;
TYPE 1 (blue colour) is the shorter option, suitable for tighter and more difficult conditions.
TYPE 2 (red colour) will work perfect with a LeCie 148 # 9/10 rod. This longer head will work superbly if you have a bit more room and want to achieve great distance with overhead- or Speycasts.
