Tackle Used : 14ft Hardy Demon rod, Orvis Battenkill 10/12 Reel, Bill Drury 9/10 Medium Spey Multi-Tip line with sink tip, Seaguar Flurocarbon Tippet 22lb, 1/2in Brass Tube Cascade with size 9 treble hook. 

Short Description Of Catch : Tiptoed out to make the most of the hour before dusk before anyone noticed I wasn't helping prepare supper!!!

Kept getting loads of offers in the deep water tail of the pool but no successful takes so upped the hook size from a 9 to a 7 and "blamo"3 big trout in the space of an hour!!!

I was on the hunt for a Salmon but I was very happy to land 3 large rainbows at 10lb, 91/2lb and 91/2lb (plus a little 1lb one for breakfast) - Thats my dinner party food caught for the festive season!
