Short Description Of The Catch :  The weather was really really windy and overcast, but it looked good. I had been there the day before and have caught only a couple fish between 2 - 5lbs. I began fishing into the windiest (but fishiest) corner of the largest lake, a corner where I have lost a beast before. I was quickly into a couple of small fish. About 1hr in, I had a pull right at my feet, I tightened up, and my fly rod bent over… I knew it was a nice fish. Eventually I brought it close enough to the net and just managed to scoop it in… It was by far my biggest ever rainbow trout! It was too big and slimy to handle properly (safely) and because it kept flapping about, I only got 1 or 2 pictures of it. It was a great fish. I quickly put her back into the water, gave her some time to recover, and finally let her swim off… I still have a smile on my face!
