7lbs 12oz Sea Trout - Toby Gibbons

Tackle used: 11 foot greys trout rod, with a 6/7 sinking line on 10lb Maxima.

I fished all afternoon in choppy squally conditions catching a few pound to pound and a half trout. At 7.30 in the evening just when I was about to Start the engine to go home there was a terrific take to a daddy long legs I had tied myself. For a good 10 minutes there was a hard battle with the Trout jumping, running and doing everything to get off. Finally it was netted, a fish of a life time on a fly.
